2021 Paulding High School Football Seniors

The best season of the year is finally here – football season! The air will soon become cooler, the stadium lights will come back on with full force, and the team will run headfirst out of colorful banners. Friday nights from now until Christmas will be reserved for sitting on the bleachers, rain or shine, to support your favorite team.

Town Square had the opportunity to present exemplary senior athletes from each school this fall, and we can’t wait for Paulding to meet them! Make sure to come cheer them on Friday night!

JUSTIN WILLIAMS

#6 // EAST PAULDING HIGH SCHOOL

Justin, son of Gloria Williams and Walter Thomas, is a proud member of the Raider Nation. He plays Defensive End, Nose, Runningback and Middle Linebacker. Justin has been playing for 9 years and doesn’t plan on quitting anytime soon. He also participates in basketball, track, and lacrosse at East Paulding. After he graduates, Justin will be playing football at West Virginia and earning his pre-med degree. He considers getting the opportunity to play football at the next level to be the highlight of his football career. Justin is looking forward to winning games with his teammates this fall and finishing high school with a 4.0 GPA.

MILES THURSTON

#12 // HIRAM HIGH SCHOOL

Miles has spent his time at Hiram as a Linebacker and Offensive Lineman. He has been playing for 8 years and is the son of Jonicia Thurston. After graduation, Miles hopes to get into farming. The highlight of his career has been playing with the class of 2020. “Especially the linebackers, they helped me get to where I am now.” Miles is eager to play his last season with his team. “I love them, they’re the reason I play.”

BRAYDEN MAULDIN

#17 // PAULDING CO. HIGH SCHOOL

Brayden has been the starting Quarterback for the Paulding County Patriots since he was a sophomore. He is the son of Logan Mauldin and Dana Cordell. He has been playing football for 12 years, and hopes to continue to play next year in college. When Brayden isn’t playing football, he plays golf at PC and hangs out with Coach Thompson. The highlight of his career thus far was beating Douglas County as the clock ran out his junior year. Brayden is excited to finish off his high school career playing the game he loves with his best friends.

RICHARD EUSERY JR.

#17 // SOUTH PAULDING HIGH SCHOOL

Richard is the son of Sharlene and Richard Eusery Sr. He started off playing Offensive Line 10 years ago, but has since moved to Fullback, Linebacker, and Defensive Tackle. Richard also throws discus on the Track & Field team. He is very involved in church and regularly does community service there. His favorite moments on the team include recovering fumbles and catching his first pass as a Fullback. After Richard graduates, he hopes to go to a college such as Tuskegee, Auburn, or Georgia Tech for aerospace engineering. In his last season on the field, he can’t wait to see his brothers ball out against great teams and hopefully win a championship.

CAMERON THOMASON

#79 // NORTH PAULDING HIGH SCHOOL

Cameron plays Right Tackle for the Wolfpack. His parents are Howell and Mandy Thomason. Cameron has been playing for the past 8 years, and plans on continuing his career in college. When his time isn’t spent at school or on the field, Cameron is involved in church. He is excited to see how much better he and his teammates have gotten in the off season!

Without the dedication and talents of David Jones of David Jones Media, this fabulous football edition would not be possible. He goes above and beyond every single time. Thank you, David, for partnering with us to give our Paulding High School Athletes the recognition they deserve!
Town Square Lifestyle would also like to thank Athletic Director, Andy Dorsey and Coach Billy Shackelford for always graciously sharing the East Paulding locker room and field to photograph in a central location.

Last, but not least, thank you to the local businesses that stepped up to support and sponsor this High School Football edition and our Paulding teams!
